Job summary
LionStone Care is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for the Piqua Care Center in Piqua, OH. This full-time position requires a High School diploma and an active STNA certification.
You will assist residents with daily living activities, support mobility, monitor nutrition, and document care in the EHR. Join a patient-centered team focused on safety, comfort, and quality of life.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current and active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
- Healthcare setting experience preferred but not required; new grads welcome.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene.
- Support mobility and transfers using assistive devices as needed.
- Assist with meals and monitor nutrition and hydration.
- Record vital signs and monitor health status as directed by nursing staff.
- Document care in the facility's EHR or paper charts accurately and timely.
- Promote safety, comfort, and resident dignity; follow infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other professionals; participate in care plan meetings.
