Job summary

Lionstone Healthcare is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care in a resident-focused setting in Ohio. The role includes assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility while maintaining safety and dignity.

You will monitor residents, report changes, and support staff through training and adherence to care plans, ensuring a respectful, clean, and compliant care environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active State Tested Nursing Assistant license in Ohio.
• Ability to perform direct patient care and daily living activities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety, sanitation, and resident dignity.
• Ability to read and follow care plans and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist residents with daily living activities (toileting, mobility).
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the nursing team.
• Supervise and educate STNAs and facility staff on policies and procedures.
• Participate in staff development and orientation programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment following safety and sanitation protocols.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are properly maintained and used.
• Review care plans daily and inform Nurse Supervisor or RN of changes.
• Attend shift nursing rounds to identify and address problem areas.
• Support resident rights and document adherence to treatment decisions.
