Job summary

Aventura Health Group in Ohio is seeking State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our caring team at Shiloh Springs. Shifts include PRN and PT with day and night options, offering a supportive and rewarding environment while helping residents with daily activities and vital signs.

We value compassion, dependability, and strong communication. This role requires valid STNA certification, CPR, and experience in long-term care or assisted living.

Qualifications

• Requires valid STNA certification in the state of employment.
• 2–3 years of experience in long-term care or assisted living.
• CPR certification current or willing to obtain upon hire.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, positioning, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Answer call lights promptly and provide needed assistance.
• Help residents with meals, including tray setup and feeding assistance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Keep resident rooms clean, organized, and safe.
• Provide respectful, compassionate care in accordance with resident care plans.
• Follow facility policies, state regulations, and infection control protocols.
• Participate in in-service training and continuing education as required.
