Aventura at Oakwood in Springfield, OH is hiring State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing and assisted living facility. New grads and walk-ins are welcome and shifts include day, night, and weekend options.

We offer pay rates ranging from $17.50 to $23.50 per hour based on experience and shift, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Active STNA certificate required.
• Graduate of CNA training program.
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand English.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document residents' vital signs and conditions.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and positioning.
• Provide meal assistance and ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment.
• Communicate changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare providers.

Requirements for State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA):

• Active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certificate
• Graduated from a CNA training program

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents.

• Communicate with nursing staff about any changes in residents' conditions.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare providers.
• Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents, their families, and the team.
