Job summary

Aventura Health Group is seeking State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join the Caring Team at Shiloh Springs in Trotwood, Ohio. The position focuses on compassionate patient care, ADL assistance, and accurate documentation in a supportive facility environment.

Ideal candidates hold an STNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Flexible shifts available, with a range of benefits and a strong team culture.”

Qualifications

• Valid STNA certification in the state of employment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in long-term care or assisted living.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
• Observe and report changes to nursing staff.
• Answer call lights promptly and provide needed assistance.
• Help with meals, tray setup, and feeding assistance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Keep resident rooms clean, organized, and safe.
• Provide respectful, compassionate care per care plans.
• Follow facility policies, state regulations, and infection control protocols.
• Participate in in-service training and continuing education.

Key Responsibilities:
