Job summary

Woodcrest Nursing & Rehabilitation in Elsmere, KY is seeking a State Tested Nurse Assistant to provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, dressing, and daily living activities. You will follow care plans and assist with mobility and daily routines across 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include responding to call lights, communicating with residents and staff, and supporting safety and quality care. Flexible schedules, PTO accrual, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a licensed or certified Nursing Assistant in long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents and nursing staff.
• Must be able to follow care plans and document appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights and respond to residents’ needs promptly.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and activities of daily living.
• Explain procedures to residents and provide compassionate care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and personal hygiene.
• Support adherence to care plans and safety protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Summary: Ensures that resident's personal care needs are being met in accordance with Residents' wishes and Care Plan Objectives.

Job Type: Full time / Part time

Schedule: 12-hour shifts 7am-7pm or 7pm to 7am

Responsibilities:

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs and ensures call lights are within reach of resident.
• Ensures that residents' who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
• Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents.
• Explains procedures to residents.
• Assists residents as necessary in their activities of daily living.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Educations:

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior experience as LTC nursing assistant preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.
