Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services is seeking a State Tested Nurse Assistant to provide personal care under care plans and ensure resident comfort during 12-hour night shifts.

The position offers great benefits, shift differentials, PTO accrual, flexible schedules, competitive pay, overtime, and Insurance options. Must have state-approved STNA training and maintain good standing in the state registry.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior LTC nursing assistant experience preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs and ensures call lights are within reach of resident.
• Ensures that residents' who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
• Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents.
• Explains procedures to residents.
• Assists residents as necessary in their activities of daily living.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Ensures that resident's personal care needs are being met in accordance with Residents' wishes and Care Plan Objectives.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts 7pm to 7am
