Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care in a Kentucky facility. Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior experience as LTC nursing assistant preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.
• Certified nurse assistant CNA (multiple mentions in posting).

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs.
• Ensures that residents who cannot call for help are checked frequently.
• Provides direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Explains procedures to residents.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists with bowel and bladder functions and transport to appointments and programs.
• Assists with lifting, positioning and transferring residents safely.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
