Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a State Student Systems Administrator to support state and school teams with student information systems, data submissions, and access management. You will partner with vendors and the national systems team to keep systems operational and secure.

Responsibilities include training staff, managing helpdesk tickets, and collaborating on data requests and reporting to ensure accurate funding and compliance for all state campuses.

Qualifications

• PowerSchool and Clever experience.
• LMS and other educational applications experience a plus.
• Proficient in Word and PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree in education, CS or related area or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing PowerSchool/PowerTeacher SIS.
• Experience in reporting data submissions for State.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders in supporting day-to-day operations of the educational systems for the assigned state.
• Provide technical support and onboarding/training to state and school staff for all assigned systems.
• Manage student system helpdesk tickets for all shareholders in the assigned state and escalate tickets to the correct vendor or escalation team as needed.
• Train and support staff on change management, helpdesk, and other procedures as needed.
• Directly support each school for state reporting data submissions and ensure SIS is configured correctly for full funding.
• Work with staff on projects, data requests, data analysis, reporting, and custom reports as needed.
• Partner with end users and department managers to ensure data is available, reliable, accessible, and secure.
