Job summary

Excel Academy Charter School is seeking a highly organized Manager of Student Information Systems & State Reporting to own PowerSchool, DeansList, Clever, and related data ecosystems across MA and RI. You will lead system configuration, data integrations, and state reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role requires collaboration with Operations, Academic Leaders, and Technology, travel between campuses, and management of projects from requirements through implementation.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in K–12 education, student information systems, data management, or state reporting.
• Experience with a student information system such as PowerSchool is required.
• Strong project-management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for nontechnical colleagues.
• Wamiliarity with data integrations and system configurations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own PowerSchool, DeansList, Clever, SWIPE, and related SIS configurations and integrations.
• Manage system setup, enrollment rules, attendance, courses, scheduling, and records.
• Oversee data integrations, imports/exports, and rostering processes.
• Lead annual system lifecycle activities and feature enhancements.
• Ensure accurate, timely state and federal reporting and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve system issues and drive improvements.
