The North Carolina Division of Parks and Recreation is hiring a Maintenance/Construction Technician III to service Raven Rock State Park and surrounding facilities. The role covers skilled trades, grounds maintenance, and equipment upkeep, with opportunities to supervise volunteers on projects.

Typical duties include carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and preventative maintenance, requiring the ability to read blueprints and follow building codes.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required, plus two years of progressive trade experience or equivalent.
• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and/or auto mechanics preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints or building codes is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Perform skilled trade tasks in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and facility maintenance.
• Operate a variety of tools and equipment as part of daily duties.
• Maintain records and prepare operational forms.
• Assist in housekeeping and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Supervise temporary staff and volunteers on projects as needed.
