The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR) seeks a Maintenance/Construction Technician II at Carvers Creek State Park in Spring Lake, NC. You will perform semi-skilled trades, maintain park facilities, and assist with grounds, equipment, and custodial duties in a team environment.

The role requires experience in trades, ability to operate equipment, and readiness to work varied shifts; a sign-on bonus is offered and duties may include supervising staff or volunteers.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated work experience performing trades in two of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and/or auto mechanics.
• Experience in grounds maintenance/landscaping and building/grounds maintenance equipment.
• High school diploma or GED and progressive trade experience.

Aufgaben

• Perform semi-skilled tasks in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and facility maintenance.
• Operate large and small equipment and purchase resources per state policies.
• Maintain records and assist in housekeeping; may supervise temporary staff and volunteers.
