The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR) is seeking a Maintenance/Construction Technician II for Carvers Creek State Park in Spring Lake, NC. This role performs a range of semi-skilled trade tasks and outdoor maintenance, including facilities upkeep, grounds work, and equipment operation.

Typical schedule is 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Sunday with overtime as needed. A sign-on bonus and a competitive recruitment range are available; applicants must meet the minimum

Formación

• High school diploma or GED plus one year of progressive experience in the trades.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may qualify.
• EPA certifications may be required (Type I/II/U) per Title 40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F.

Responsabilidades

• Perform semi-skilled trades in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and facilities maintenance.
• Operate large and small equipment and tools.
• Maintain records and assist with housekeeping and grounds maintenance.
• May supervise temporary staff, volunteers or community service participants.
