Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an Account Executive to expand AWS adoption within the State of Colorado government agencies.

You will own strategic relationships with CXOs, IT leaders, and procurement teams while coordinating with AWS Solution Architects and partners to define and pursue key opportunities. Responsibilities include driving revenue, developing account plans, and accelerating cloud adoption across Colorado state agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals.
• Demonstrable track record of cultivating a sales territory and continually meeting and exceeding annual quota.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and cloud adoption in a defined account base.
• Develop, articulate and implement account plans aligned to AWS's strategic direction.
• Identify prospects/partners/channels to collaborate with to serve customers.
• Maintain an accurate and robust pipeline and forecast of business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management regarding strategies and revenue growth.
