You will manage a Marketing Specialist and oversee contract resources, setting direction, coaching talent, and personally contributing high-priority content and communications when needed. Strong writing and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, brand, PR, integrated marketing, or a related field.
• Experience managing, coaching, or developing marketing or communications professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated content strategies across multiple channels and audiences.
• Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and message-development skills.
• Experience leading web content strategy with SEO, AEO, digital content optimization.
• Experience in government technology, public sector, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead content strategy and editorial calendar for State & Federal marketing across channels.
• Develop high-impact thought leadership programs and assets around government priorities.
• Translate expertise and complex concepts into compelling content for diverse audiences.
• Oversee development of case studies, white papers, articles, and campaign assets.
• Lead the content strategy for lobbyist engagement, webinars, and newsletters with internal/external stakeholders.
• Establish content governance to keep content current, reusable, and on-brand.
• Identify opportunities to extend major content investments across campaigns and channels.
• Lead State & Federal web content strategy and SEO improvements for discovery and conversion.
• Coordinate public relations efforts, press materials, and executive communications.
• Manage Marketing Specialist and contract resources; balance internal/external talent.
• Build a scalable process for content and communications that supports growth.
