Pearson in the United States is seeking a State Adoption Advanced Specialist to own strategy, requirements interpretation, and post-adoption execution for CTE state bids.

You will analyze enrollment data, district needs, and state rules, guiding product and content teams, coordinating with Sales, and serving as a district-facing contact through adoption cycles.

This remote role emphasizes Texas and other adoption states, with a salary range of $70,000–$90,000 and a company bonus plan.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in K-12 state adoptions, curriculum procurement, or CTE strategy in edtech or related field.
• Experience navigating state adoption bid processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on state adoption processes, timelines, and requirements.
• Interpret state-specific submission requirements and guide teams on necessary actions.
• Coordinate with RFP/Bid Management to ensure accurate submission strategy and compliance.
• Relay nuanced state needs to Product and Content teams for courseware alignment.
• Manage district-facing communications and track official adoption review dates.
