Sora Resource Group is seeking an experienced Production Control & Materials Assistant Manager for a new manufacturing facility in Georgia. The role focuses on establishing efficient production control processes, ensuring material availability, and maintaining inventory accuracy to support on-time deliveries.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams across production, purchasing, warehouse, and operations, aligning schedules with demand and capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years in production control, material planning, inventory management, or manufacturing operations.
• Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily/weekly production schedules based on demand, materials, and capacity.
• Coordinate material planning, shortages, supplier delays, and inventory discrepancies.
• Oversee WIP, raw materials, and finished goods inventory accuracy.
