Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking an experienced Production Control & Materials Supervisor to oversee daily scheduling, material coordination, and inventory control in our new Georgia facility. You will ensure materials are available to support production and maintain accurate records.

You will collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to minimize disruption and support on-time deliveries, while leading a small team on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in production control, material planning, inventory management, or manufacturing operations.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, MRP, inventory control, and MES.
• Experience with SAP and MES systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and production reporting.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules based on demand and capacity.
• Monitor output and adjust schedules as needed.
• Collaborate to resolve conflicts and maintain efficiency.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Oversee inventory transactions and cycle counts.
• Prepare production reports and KPI monitoring.
• Lead and train production control and materials staff.
• Support on-time deliveries with cross-functional teams.
