Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group seeks an experienced Production Control & Materials Assistant Manager for a new Georgia manufacturing facility preparing to launch operations.

You will lead production planning, materials management, and inventory control to enable on-time deliveries and efficient startup. Collaborate with production, purchasing, warehouse, and operations to align schedules with demand and capacity, implement SOPs, and drive continuous improvement in ERP/MRP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in production control, planning, or manufacturing ops.
• Supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong scheduling, MRP, inventory control knowledge.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience required.
• Proficient Excel and data analytics.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Start-up or new launch experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, material availability, and capacity.
• Monitor production performance and coordinate adjustments to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with leadership to set priorities and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Develop and implement production planning procedures and metrics.
• Coordinate material planning and availability to support uninterrupted operations.
• Identify and resolve shortages, supplier delays, and inventory discrepancies.
• Oversee WIP, raw material, and finished goods inventory accuracy.
• Track KPIs related to schedule attainment, inventory accuracy, and delivery performance.
• Support start-up processes and SOPs during facility ramp-up.
