Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Startup Operations professional to lead dedicated transportation startup projects, train drivers and managers, and ensure flawless execution during new business startups.

The role requires extensive travel (75–80%) and includes creating process documents, system testing, and consulting on product enhancements. You will coordinate with management, answer questions, and guide operational consistency while building out process flows and ensuring compliance across the

Qualifications

• Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
• One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required. advanced required
• Logistics industry knowledge advanced required
• Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations. advanced required
• Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components. intermediate required
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required

Responsibilities

• Startup team focused on flawless execution and adherence to pre-established customer critical success factors
• Ensuring drivers and managers understand the core operations and systems used for tracking compliance, driver pay, and customer billing
• Acting as an arm of management to answer questions and make quick decisions during the startup phase
• Training of new management team and Certified Driver Trainer group
• Building out of process flow and providing guidance on consistency of operations
