Job summary

Macy’s, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Daily Operations Leader for the licensed Starbucks café inside Macy’s to run daily operations, ensure safety, quality, and profitability, and uphold brand standards while working with baristas.

You’ll coach teammates, drive sales, manage inventory, scheduling, and compliance, deliver excellent customer service, and foster a collaborative, inclusive café environment.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification or food handler permit as required by state or local health department.
• Heavy lifting and extended standing; ability to lift up to 30 lbs and move equipment as needed.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily café operations, ensuring safety, sanitation, and product quality per Starbucks and Macy’s standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by modeling customer connection standards and selling behaviors.
• Train and coach colleagues to maximize team performance, customer satisfaction, and development.
• Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of all food and beverages and adjust recipes as needed.
• Monitor labor to balance service with cost control and schedule efficiently.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory, and invoice processing to maintain stock and costs.
• Monitor sales, expenses, and reports to meet profit and loss goals and communicate results to leadership.
• Oversee cash handling and POS operations in line with policies.
