Penmac Staffing Services, Inc. in Independence, KS is seeking a Staffing Specialist to join our staffing team. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with pay commensurate with experience.

The role involves recruiting, screening, interviewing, coordinating background checks and drug screening, preparing offers, and onboarding new hires. You will also maintain client relationships and ensure orders are filled to client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting or staffing is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to de-escalate problems and provide conflict resolution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and interview applicants; evaluate job skills for placement.
• Complete background checks and reference checks; coordinate interviews.
• Schedule interviews with associates and clients; prepare offers and new hire paperwork.
• Develop relationships with client hiring managers and provide quality staffing services.
