The position manages employees, interacts with client operations, HR, and safety to meet production goals in a safe, timely manner.

This role proactively sources qualified applicants, screens candidates, and conducts initial interviews via phone or online.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recruiting, staffing sales or similar experience.
• Proficient in sourcing techniques, including social platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills and time management.
• Ability to work independently or in teams.
• Familiar with ATS/CMS systems.
• Ability to present our company and roles to candidates and clients.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a positive, productive relationship with client.
• Interacts with potential candidates via phone, social media, and networks.
• Crafts and sends recruiting emails and SMS texts.
• Coordinates with recruiters and hiring managers to determine position requirements.
• Analyzes resumes accurately.
• Identifies qualified candidate profiles using sourcing techniques.
• Interviews candidates to evaluate their qualifications for assignments.
• Completes employment reference checks on candidates.
• Schedules candidates for interviews with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Develops talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Maintains an up-to-date candidate database.
• Generates or identifies leads for new business.

Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold) is seeking a Staffing Specialist for a facility in Manning, SC who is a creative, energetic individual with a \"Whatever It Takes\" attitude in fulfilling their job duties.

The Staffing Specialist manages employees and staff while interacting with client operations, HR, and safety personnel to ensure all production goals are met is a safe and timely manner. Proactively searches for qualified job applicants for current or planned open positions. Identifies and screens candidates and conducts initial interviews via phone or online. Seeks new business opportunities to place candidates from the company’s database.

Compensation and Benefits:

$21-$23 hour plus commissions for procuring new business

Essential Functions:

Requirements:

• Ability to lead and motivation to learn
• Proven work experience recruiting, staffing sales, or similar role (1 year or more)
• Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms)
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Outstanding time-management abilities
• Ability to work individually or on teams as required
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)
• Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates and clients
• High school diploma or equivalent
