This on-site role requires strong organizational and communication skills and adherence to facility policies.

The Staffing Coordinator will work under the Administrator, schedule postings, monitor overtime, and collaborate with HR to ensure compliant staffing within budget.

Qualifications

• Must possess the ability to work independently.
• Able to relate positively to residents, families and staff.
• Meet local health regulations and pass drug screening/background checks.
• Must lift and carry items up to 30 pounds.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and professionally to support daily operations.
• Interact with residents and staff in a courteous, professional manner.
• Follow facility policies and maintain safety and accuracy.
• Coordinate payroll and attendance by sending daily documentation.
• Support HR with onboarding processes.
• Maintain competency and complete required trainings.
• Approve and track PTO and leaves as needed.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Create and post monthly staff schedules and approve trades.
• Post and fill open shifts and manage coverage.
• Record call-offs, tardies, and early arrivals; communicate with HR.
• Monitor daily PPD and staffing levels.
• Notify HR of write-ups or terminations.
• Minimize overtime and optimize staffing budgets.
• Coordinate orientation with HR for new candidates.
• Report status changes to HR promptly.
• Maintain a clean, professional office area.
• Monitor agency usage to manage department costs.
