Job summary

AristaCare Health Services is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to partner with our in-house Talent Acquisition Team in New Jersey. You will plan staffing strategies, ensure daily staffing for the Nursing Department, and collaborate with agencies to fill hard-to-fill roles.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in staffing or a similar role, plus long-term care facility experience. Strong organization, communication and confidentiality are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Staffing Coordinator or similar role.
• At least 1 year long term care facility experience.
• Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures and best practices.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind.
• Reliable with respect to confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement a sustainable staffing strategy.
• Make sure Daily Staffing is in place for Nursing Department.
• Monitor the company's staffing needs and take actions to staff accordingly by ensuring coverage for callouts.
• Work with staffing agencies as needed.
• Identify hard to fill roles and take proactive actions.
• Assist in candidate screening and interviewing.
• Assist with new employee orientation.
• Design and plan work shift schedules.
• Provide assistance with timekeeping for payroll purposes.
• Create, present and submit reports to management.
