AristaCare is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to plan and execute a sustainable staffing strategy for our nursing department. You will monitor daily staffing needs, coordinate with agencies, screen candidates, and assist with orientation to ensure smooth operations within a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Staffing Coordinator or similar role.
• At least 1 year long term care facility experience.
• Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures and best practices.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind.
• Reliable with respect to confidentiality.
• Minimum: high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement a sustainable staffing strategy.
• Ensure Daily Staffing is in place for Nursing Department.
• Monitor staffing needs and staff accordingly by ensuring coverage for callouts.
• Work with staffing agencies as needed.
• Identify hard to fill roles and take proactive actions.
• Assist in candidate screening and interviewing.
• Assist with new employee orientation.
• Design and plan work shift schedules.
• Provide assistance with timekeeping for payroll purposes.
• Create, present and submit reports to management.
