• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Complete nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units.
• Consult with Nursing Department staff and supervisors concerning staff scheduling needs.
• Assist employees with Time Request Forms.
• Contact employees via telephone, email, text, etc. to ensure worksheets/time schedules are up to date.
• Answer employee calls regarding staffing functions.

A Staffing Director/coordinator develops and maintain a good working rapport with interdepartmental employees, as well as other departments within the facility.
