Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive architectural evolution of our platform as we scale to meet demand from global engineering leaders. This hands-on role blends technical leadership with execution across design, testing, deployment, and reliability.

You will mentor engineers, shape distributed architecture, and own critical platform components, APIs, and workflows. A strong emphasis on security, observability, and collaboration with product teams is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including staff-level work.
• Expert in distributed systems architecture and large-scale backends.
• Strong Python development with production experience at scale.
• Security-minded development with OAuth and secure-by-default practices.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, and SRE/production reliability.

Responsibilities

• Drive the ongoing transition from monolithic to distributed architecture.
• Write production-quality Python code for core platform components and services.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and establish architectural best practices.
• Collaborate with product and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
