Job summary

CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI, seeks a Staff Engineer specializing in Data Platforms and Stream Processing to advance our multi-regional datastore strategy and communication models for data flow. You will join a team of 6–8 engineers and tackle challenges across ingestion, processing, and retrieval within a collaborative, high-performing environment.

You’ll help drive technical decisions, champion event-driven architecture, and design scalable data solutions while mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering.
• Ability to define data models and establish data management guidelines.
• Experience with distributed NewSQL datastores and stream processing tools.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes for event-driven/stateful orchestration.
• Go or Python production-level programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical decisions to accelerate delivery and grow team capability.
• Champion event-driven architecture and build organizational consensus.
• Design and implement data platform solutions for teams.
• Develop a scalable stream processing architecture.
• Improve performance, security, reliability, and scalability; participate in on-call rotation.
• Establish data access guard rails and regulatory compliance.
