Job summary

CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI, seeks a Staff Software Engineer to own the reliability and performance of its Kubernetes-based data platform. You will design, scale, and operate multi-region systems with production-grade discipline, focusing on uptime, latency, and security.

You will lead deployments, optimize pipelines, and contribute to observability, instrumentation, and automation across the data infrastructure stack, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Platform/Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Experience with data platforms and data-intensive workloads.
• Deep Kubernetes cluster design and production troubleshooting.
• Proven CI/CD pipelines with Argo CD and GitHub Actions.
• Ownership of mission-critical systems with high availability (≥99.99%).
• Experience in distributed systems, databases, and backend APIs.
• Design and operation of geo-replicated multi-region systems.
• Strong observability across stack with metrics, logs, tracing.
• IaC with Helm, Terraform, or Pulumi; automated environment provisioning.
• Performance tuning and capacity planning in distributed environments.
