CoreWeave in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale our platform, delivering features across design, development, testing, deployment, and reliability. You will push a transition to a more distributed architecture, design agentic-ready interfaces, and mentor teammates while collaborating with product and engineering to turn requirements into working solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Distributed systems and backend services expertise.
• Experience designing APIs and service interfaces.
• Security-minded development (auth, secure-by-default).
• Strong Python development in production.
• Production Kubernetes expertise.
• Familiar with workflow orchestration tools (Temporal, Airflow, Kubeflow).
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP a plus).
• Familiar with Spark, Athena, Ray, or similar data tools.
• Excellent technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to transitioning from monolithic to distributed architecture.
• Design and implement agentic-ready architectures for AI products.
• Write production-quality Python code for platform components.
• Build and optimize distributed compute services.
• Contribute to CI/CD, tests, and deployment.
• Support reliability, observability, and SRE practices.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices.
• Collaborate with product to translate requirements into solutions.
• Participate in technical decision-making and prioritization.
• Interview and onboard new engineers.
