CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Engineer specializing in data platforms and stream processing to advance our multi-regional datastore strategy. You will work with a team of 6-8 engineers on data ingestion, flow, and retrieval, building scalable, reliable systems in a fast-growing AI cloud.

You will drive technical decisions, champion event-driven architectures, design data services, and contribute to Kubernetes-based operations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience with distributed NewSQL datastores and stream processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and grow team capability.
• Champion event-driven architecture adoption and build consensus across the organization.
• Design and operate data platforms to deliver scalable data access for teams.
• Develop a stream processing architecture addressing scalability and reliability.
• Improve performance, security, reliability, and participate in on-call rotation.
