Job summary

Commure is building an AI-native platform to transform healthcare billing. As a Staff Software Product Engineer, you will set technical direction for the rebuild of biller-workflow surfaces, spanning frontend and backend architecture, to support millions of claims and complex workflows.

You will lead multi-team initiatives, raise engineering standards, ensure reliability and performance, and embed AI where it removes real friction in the claims process.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building large-scale, full-stack applications and setting technical direction across multiple teams.
• Frontend leadership across a big org with shared components and design system adoption.
• Strong API design for REST endpoints with filtering, grouping and pagination.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for the biller-workflow platform across multiple teams and drive adoption.
• Establish standards and patterns for components, data-fetching, API contracts, testing, and observability.
• Lead cross-cutting problems end to end: data-dense tables, bulk operations, claim activity timelines, and AI embedding.
