Job summary

Commure is hiring a Software Engineer II to join Air Billing, the team behind the workstreams for claims, appointments, and payments posting. These surfaces are data-dense, fast, and used daily by billers across healthcare practices.

You will own end-to-end features in production, collaborating with product, design, and billing operations to ensure pain-free workflows while advancing the AI-enabled capabilities that reduce friction in processing claims.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building full-stack applications with production shipping experience.
• Strong frontend skills for clean, maintainable UIs in data-dense screens.
• API and data-layer fundamentals for endpoints with filtering and pagination.
• Good debugging and observability instincts with monitoring and logging.
• Clear communication with teammates and partners throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end on claims, appointments, and payments-posting surfaces from design to rollout.
• Write production-ready code with tests and well-defined interfaces.
• Collaborate with product, design, and billing operations to solve workflow problems.
• Build reliability: dashboards, logging, and alerting for fast issue root-cause.
• Review code with focus on correctness, performance, and user experience.
• Help set technical standards and help onboard teammates as the team scales.
