Job summary

Commure is building an AI-native platform to transform healthcare billing, documentation, and revenue workflows. We are seeking a Staff Software Product Engineer to shape the rebuild of biller-workflow surfaces, set architectural direction, and drive multi-team delivery.

You’ll lead across React/TypeScript frontend and Python/FastAPI backend, ensuring scalable, fast, and reliable experiences for billers and practice staff. Join a mission-driven team that ships daily with real patient-care impact.

Qualifications

8+ years building large-scale, full-stack applications—setting technical direction across multiple teams.
Org-wide frontend leadership—built or adopted a shared component architecture and design system.
Strong API and data-layer design for REST endpoints handling filtering, grouping, and pagination.

Responsibilities

Set the technical direction for the biller-workflow platform across frontend and backend.
Establish standards and patterns for multiple teams to follow in data-fetching, API contracts, testing, and observability.
Lead the hardest cross-cutting problems end to end, across teams and domains.
Ensure engineering excellence through architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentorship.
Own reliability and performance in production for biller surfaces and data pipelines.
