Job summary

Commure is building the AI-native operating system for healthcare, powering billing, documentation, and revenue workflows across EHRs. As a Staff Software Product Engineer, you will set the technical direction for a major rebuild of biller workflows, guiding frontend and backend teams through data-dense, high-scale challenges.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building large-scale, full-stack applications with technical leadership across multiple teams.
• Experience orchestrating frontend architecture or design-system adoption across a large org.
• Strong API and data-layer design for REST endpoints with filtering, grouping, and pagination.
• Track record leading multi-month, multi-team initiatives and platform migrations.
• Ability to mentor engineers and raise technical standards across teams.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for the biller-workflow platform across frontend and backend.
• Establish standards, patterns, and contracts for data fetching, architecture, and testing.
• Lead cross-cutting challenges like large-scale data tables, bulk operations, and auditability.
• Ensure reliability and performance in production, including monitoring and observability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations to transform billing workflows into production software.
