Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems with AI capabilities and frontend experiences, hands‑on and technical, driving dashboards, microservices, and third‑party integrations.

You will guide technical strategy across data, AI, DevOps, and cloud operations, mentoring teams while delivering measurable improvements in Payer metadata, lifecycle contracts, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering with focus on full‑stack development and architecture.
• Experience with modern JS/TS frameworks and data visualization libraries.
• Deep API design, microservices, and event‑driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design and development of scalable web apps.
• Architect dashboards and data visualization surfaces.
• Build secure APIs and data integration layers.
• Integrate AI models and orchestration into products.
• Drive CI/CD and cloud infrastructure with IaC (Terraform/CFN).
• Mentor frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers; set standards.
