Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences, while championing DevOps and integrating AI features to automate workflows.

You will guide technical strategy, mentor teams, and optimize the Payer Operations stack, focusing on metadata, lifecycle contracts, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering with full‑stack focus.
• Experience designing scalable architectures and dashboards.
• Strong frontend (React/Angular/Vue) and backend (Node/Python/Java/C#) skills.
• Experience with AI model integration and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design of scalable web apps and dashboards.
• Architect and implement secure APIs and data integrations.
• Embed AI features and orchestrate ML workflows into products.
• Drive DevOps, CI/CD, and IaC across cloud environments.
• Mentor engineers and shape the technical roadmap.
