Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scale of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and intuitive frontend experiences, delivering robust dashboards and microservices.

You will mentor teams, drive DevOps practices, embed AI features, and optimize payer operations with a focus on enriching metadata, automating contracts, and measuring performance across the stack.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with focus on full-stack development, architecture and scalable applications.
• Experience with modern JS/TS frameworks and data visualization libraries.
• Deep expertise in server-side languages and scalable microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications.
• Architect rich dashboards and data visualizations surface complex insights.
• Design secure APIs and data integration layers across systems.
• Champion AI/ML integration into core products and workflows.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and IaC to ensure high availability.
• Mentor engineers across frontend, backend, and DevOps.
