Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to design and deliver durable security services across physical and cloud domains. You will own the end-to-end security architecture, partner with software teams, and drive complex initiatives through to production with measurable risk mitigations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security or infrastructure engineering.
• 4+ years leading multi-team technical programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Expertise with cloud-based services (AWS, GCP).
• Hands-on with access control and video platforms and their APIs.
• Strong project planning and design review skills (JIRA).

Responsibilities

• Own design of physical security systems integration across PACS and VMS platforms.
• Deliver multi-domain security services spanning cloud, network, identity, and data layers.
• Collaborate with software engineers, security teams, and vendors to ensure security outcomes.
• Provide architectural guidance, risk framing, and production support with operational excellence.
