Job summary

DoorDash seeks a Staff Security Engineer to lead security enablement initiatives across physical and cloud domains. You will own the architectural plan, partner with technology providers, and drive program delivery spanning PACS, VMS, identity management, and cloud infrastructure.

You will collaborate with software engineers and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions, manage risks, and ensure operational excellence through clear status updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security or infrastructure engineering, including 4+ leading multi-team technical programs.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Security Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Expertise with cloud-based services and infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Hands‑on depth with enterprise access control and video platforms (Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, or peers) and the APIs and integrations around them.
• Project planning and execution skills that include JIRA experience, reviewing technical design documents, security controls, estimating, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of physical security systems integration layer (PACS, VMS) and their data interfaces.
• Lead end-to-end design of multi-domain security services across physical security, cloud, identity, and reporting layers.
• Partner with software engineers to design secure, scalable, and resilient solutions; provide architecture guidance.
