Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to design and deliver durable security services across multiple domains. You will own the technical plan, partner with engineers, and lead delivery through complex, cross-team initiatives spanning physical security, cloud infrastructure, identity, and data platforms.

You will drive secure architecture, manage risks, and provide clear updates to senior leadership while mentoring teams and raising the security bar across GSS.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security or infrastructure engineering.
• 4+ years leading multi-team technical programs.
• BS in CS/Security/IS or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on with cloud services (AWS, GCP).
• Experience with access control and video platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own design of physical security systems integration layer (PACS/VMS) and APIs.
• Lead end-to-end security services across multiple domains (cloud, network, IAM, reporting).
• Partner with software engineers to review architecture and deliver secure scalable solutions.
• Own cloud footprint of the security stack and AWS services.
• Develop detailed working-backwards plans and manage risk.
• Provide concise status updates to senior leadership.
