Job summary

Firestorm is seeking a highly experienced Staff Recruiter, Engineering to lead complex technical searches across electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, avionics, and related engineering disciplines. You will act as a trusted talent advisor to engineering leadership, translating intricate requirements into targeted sourcing strategies and long-term pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or equivalent; if lieu of degree 10 years of progressive recruitment experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR regulations, with ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with substantial experience recruiting highly technical engineering talent.
• Experience recruiting electrical engineers and other specialized engineering disciplines in competitive talent markets.
• Deep experience sourcing and recruiting talent across electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, avionics, hardware, and related technical disciplines.
• Experience independently leading difficult, specialized searches where qualified talent pools are limited.
• Advanced expertise in technical sourcing, talent mapping, passive candidate identification, competitive intelligence, and market research.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into effective sourcing and assessment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own Firestorm's most complex, niche, and high-priority engineering searches; focus on electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, avionics, hardware disciplines.
• Recruit highly specialized engineering talent at Senior, Staff, and other critical levels across functions.
• Develop deep understanding of Firestorm's technology, products, and engineering roadmap to identify talent.
• Partner with engineering executives to translate requirements into targeted recruiting strategies.
• Build long-term technical talent pipelines and conduct market intelligence across aerospace, defense, robotics and related sectors.
• Develop targeted talent maps around competitors, universities, and technical communities.
• Identify and engage passive candidates through creative sourcing channels.
• Mentor other recruiters and share technical recruiting best practices.
• Represent Firestorm in relevant engineering communities and events.
