The Talent Acquisition Specialist – Engineering partners closely with engineering leaders to attract, assess, and hire high-impact technical talent. This role owns full-cycle recruiting for specialized engineering roles, balancing speed, quality, and candidate experience in a highly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles (e.g., mechanical, electrical, software, systems, manufacturing).
- Partner with engineering leaders to understand technical requirements, team dynamics, and future capability needs.
- Translate complex technical requirements into compelling job postings and targeted outreach strategies.
- Proactively source passive engineering talent using LinkedIn, technical networks, referrals, and industry communities.
- Conduct high-quality recruiter screens focused on technical alignment, problem-solving capability, and cultural fit.
- Manage interview logistics, candidate preparation, and debriefs to support timely, well-informed hiring decisions.
- Advise hiring leaders on market conditions, compensation trends, and hiring strategies.
- Ensure a strong, inclusive candidate experience from first contact through offer and close.
- Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity within the ATS; track pipeline health and hiring metrics.
- Partner with HR and compensation teams to support offers, relocations, and onboarding transitions.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on engineering or technical roles.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit specialized, hard-to-fill technical talent.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and guide hiring leaders.
- Experience sourcing passive candidates and building long-term technical pipelines.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruiting analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting in aerospace, manufacturing, advanced technology, or regulated environments.
- Ability to understand and speak to technical concepts with credibility (not necessarily an engineer).
