Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer (Program Management & Digital Solution Integration) to shape, deploy, and drive adoption of PM tools across the enterprise. This hands-on role combines analytical, technical, and change management work to deliver end-to-end program management improvements.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with 10–12 years of experience, strong skills in Planisware, WorkforceOne, and data integrity, and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of technical experience or Master’s with 10 years.
• 3 years of program or project management experience using Microsoft Project.
• Experience with workforce planning, risk management, and contractual deliverables tracking.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to design, configuration, and evolution of PM tools to meet needs.
• Assist with stakeholder communication, briefing decks, and change messaging.
• Develop phased rollout roadmaps and track progress against plan.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to deploy and integrate tools.
• Align workflows and data flows across PM tools for end‑to‑end processes.
• Deliver training sessions and hands‑on workshops for tool adoption.
• Act as SME for PM tools, conducting data quality checks and reviews.
• Support post‑implementation reviews and continuous improvements.
