Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production distributed systems.
• Hands-on proficiency in Go or a comparable systems language and CI/CD tooling.
• Track record designing and shipping high-impact backend/platform systems.
• Proven technical leadership on cross-team initiatives and architectural direction.
• Deep operational expertise with reliable, observable production systems.
• Able to mentor engineers and raise the technical bar through reviews and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own core developer infrastructure platforms, including CI/build systems and deployment orchestration from design to production.
• Identify high-impact problems, translate ambiguities into concrete roadmaps, align with dependent teams.
• Improve metrics like build/CI wall time, deploy speed, and feedback latency across engineers.
• Lead cross-team initiatives and large-scale platform migrations end-to-end.
• Raise reliability by owning SLOs, observability, and rapid recovery designs.
• Partner with engineering customers and leadership to shape technical strategy and drive adoption; mentor peers.
