Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go or a comparable systems language with CI/CD experience.
• Designing and shipping high-impact backend/platform systems owned long-term.
• Technical leadership on cross-team initiatives at scale.
• Operational expertise for reliable, observable production systems.
• Mentor, review designs, and communicate clearly.
• Responsible use of AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own core developer infrastructure platforms, including CI/build systems and deployment orchestration, across the full lifecycle from design through production operation.
• Identify high-leverage problems, translate ambiguities into concrete roadmaps, and align dependent teams.
• Drive improvements to build/CI wall time, deploy speed and safety, and developer feedback latency.
• Lead cross-cutting initiatives end to end, including large-scale platform migrations.
• Raise reliability by owning SLOs, observability, and on-call processes.
• Partner with engineering customers, EMs, and leadership to shape strategy and mentor engineers.
