Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own the reliability and performance of its Kubernetes-based data platform. You will architect, operate, and scale multi-region systems while strengthening security and deployment pipelines.

With 10+ years in platform or infrastructure roles, you will lead incident response, define SLOs, and drive observability and automation across distributed workloads.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Platform/Infrastructure Engineering experience; strong software design and problem solving.
• Experience with data platforms and distributed processing, including streaming frameworks.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise across cluster design, operations, and production troubleshooting.
• Proven experience building and operating robust CI/CD pipelines (Argo CD, GitHub Actions).
• Production ownership of high-availability systems, with incident response and SLI/SLO management.
• Distributed systems development for large-scale databases and backends.
• Designing multi-region geo-redundant architectures with traffic routing.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability and performance of a Kubernetes-based data platform end-to-end.
• Architect and operate highly available, multi-region systems.
• Scale infrastructure, optimize deployment pipelines, and strengthen security posture.
• Lead incident response, define SLI/SLO/SLA, and manage error budgets.
