Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to handle day-to-day dispensing for long-term, post-acute care pharmacy operations. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality patient care while supporting a 24/7 operation.

The role requires a CA Pharmacist license, acute-care experience, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits are offered as part of a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed pharmacist in CA and in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Verify completeness and accuracy of new and refill labels and orders.
• Maintain resident database with medical history and current data.
• Manage controlled substances inventory and schedule II drugs.
• Reconcile controlled substances per state and federal regulations.
• Provide clinical drug information to staff and patients.
• Document communications in the medical record.
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV products.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.
• Follow HIPAA and other government regulations.
• Other duties as assigned; adapt to business needs.
