CoreWeave, the AI hyperscaler, is hiring a Staff Engineer for Performance Engineering in San Francisco, CA. You will lead performance initiatives across the W&B platform and infrastructure, designing experiments to boost scalability and latency while building benchmarking and load-testing tools.

You will work with product, infrastructure, and SRE teams to measure, analyze, and improve performance, embedding performance thinking into CI/CD pipelines and cross-functional initiatives at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in software engineering.
• Strong background in performance optimization and observability.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Own complex performance challenges across the W&B platform and infrastructure.
• Design experiments to improve system scalability and latency.
• Develop standardized benchmarking and load-testing frameworks.
• Drive initiatives to prevent regressions across product surfaces.
